RoboCup 2019
RoboCup 2019 is taking place at
the International Convention Centre Sydney from the 2nd – 8th July 2019, the
event will feature a combination of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics
through robots competing in a variety of league competitions.
RoboCup
is an international scientific initiative with the goal to advance the state of
the art of intelligent robots. When established in 1997, the original mission
was to field a team of robots capable of winning against the human soccer World
Cup champions by 2050.
If you are free today 6th July or tomorrow 7 July get
on down to the Sydney Convention Centre and see the Robots in action.
Events include Junior Soccer, On-Stage (Dance) and Rescue
(navigate a line maze). The senior students Major league includes Small, Middle
and Humanoid League Soccer, 2D and 3D Simulation Soccer, Industrial Logistics
League, and Robotic Rescue.
