This week we have once again had many exciting learning experiences. We started our independent book clubs and I was very proud of how well students engaged with this opportunity across the class. Ask your child what book they are studying and what they talked about in their group.
In Maths we made links between data, decimals and probability, starting off with completing chance experiments with dice and recording the results firstly in tables, using tally marks, and then graphing our 3 experiments on the one line graph.
We made some progress in Geography, creating an aerial map of the school and completing a vegetation survey, marking and measuring the green spaces that are currently there. We will then use this information to calculate how much Carbon our school currently draws down, and make some recommendations moving forward (integrated into the Green Room Project) from the information deduced from the data we collate.
We also had the last of our Lunchtime Recitals for the year. Sophia and Siena played beautifully, and our Music Captains Ashlee and Sophia again MC'd with style.
Jaden was part of the AFL Gala Day on Thursday and the combined Campus team performed very well.
I also have included some photos of our fun in the sun at Beach Sports on Friday.
