Term 4 Week 1 - All done

Welcome back to what was a busy start to term 4.  This week we started our learning in Science, experimenting with a number sorting algorithm.  We did revision in Mathematics on working with decimals, with a focus on division of decimals by a whole number and also dividing decimals with decimals.  In English we wrote our very last Holiday Recount for Primary School.  They will be published and up on the wall outside our classroom by Tuesday, feel free to come and have a read.

Besides our classroom learning we also had several special events this week.  We had Lunchtime Recitals on Wednesday and Thursday, St Luke's Day Chapel, Beach Sports and the IPSHA Debating Gala Day on Friday.  I was very proud of all the students involved in these events.  Mrs Ruiz said she was incredibly proud of the Debating students and both teams won one debate out of two.  Well done indeed!  Our Music Captains did an amazing job MCing the lunchtime recitals.  Our captains also did a great job doing the readings and prayers at the St Luke's Day Chapel.  Then everyone thoroughly enjoyed our time at the beach.  We did some flag races on the sand, then played Water Polo in the Beach Pool.  I hope you enjoy the photos from our first week below...
